Click on Silent Auction Items, scroll through the list and tap on the item you want to bid on. At the bottom of the page beneath the photo and description it will show you the current winning bid and the next minimum bid you need to make. Enter your bid amount into the field at the bottom of the page and click Place Bid (if you are not registered you will need to register your details). Credit card information is required before placing your first bid. The auction is being operated in accordance with the best practice principles at https://ciof.org.uk/events-and-training/resources/auctions.
You can register when you first place a bid or make donation, or you can click on Login/Register. You will be asked to enter your details so we can contact you if you win an auction item.
Yes, you can change any of your contact details at any point. Click on My Account, edit your profile and click Save.
You can click on My Account and then My Bids to see all of the items you are currently winning or have been outbid on competitive lots. You will also be sent a text and email notification if you have been outbid. To maximise the returns for the charity, where multiple items are available, the top bidder(s) will be successful.
Please contact [email protected] before the auction ends to discuss. If an under bidder is willing to reinstate his/her previously winning bid prior to the auction ending, then your request may be approved, at the organisers’ discretion. At the conclusion of the auction, bids are binding, not retractable and refunds are not available in any circumstance.
There is a countdown clock on the item page showing how long is left until the item closes.
This fundraising auction contains a combination of donated lots and supplied lots. Non donated lots are supplied to this fundraiser at £25 - £150 under the starting bid price to ensure that every single bid is guaranteed to raise much needed funds for the beneficiary charities. That value, plus 100% of the winning bid above the supply price goes to the beneficiaries. Wholly donated lots will be specified.
When the system closes, you will be either sent a secure payment link or your credit card will automatically be charged if you have entered the details on the secure page only if you have won an item and/or made a donation. You will then be sent a text and email notification with a confirmation of your payment.
The lots inclusion are exhaustive and exclude flights, transfers and all other expenses unless expressly stated in the description.
Any item of signed memorabilia provided by Elite Fundraising comes complete with an Elite Fundraising Hologram Certificate of Authenticity. Elite Fundraising cannot guarantee the authenticity for any item provided by other suppliers/charities.
